Situated in the heart of the village of Windermere and central to the whole of the Lake District, once home to Beatrix Potter, Wordsworth and Wainright, Lingmoor Guesthouse is a traditional Lakeland house with a slate roof built in 1854 by, and for, the local railway which arrived in Windermere at that time. We are the perfect base for a relaxing stay with 5 contemporary styled en suite bedrooms. We aim to offer a comfortable, hospitable stay in a family-run house. The house has many lovely period features retained amid a contemporary setting. Benefit from the personal attention that can be offered by a smaller establishment.
