Long established with an informal relaxed relaxed atmosphere, heated swimming pool, licensed bar, free Wi-Fi, air conditioned bedrooms and parking. Children over 12 years old welcome. Oaklands@Yarbridge sits at the foot of the scenic Brading Downs on the Isle of Wight, making it ideal for both walkers and cyclists. The heated swimming pool (June to September) is open most days from 14:00 to dusk. The friendly village pub, The Yarbridge Inn, is just across the road. Walk just a few more metres for fishing on the River Yar. Oaklands was featured in the April 2006 Sunday Mirror article 'The Best of British at Bargain Prices'. Oaklands has also been awarded 5-stars by IW Council for food hygiene standards. A light buffet-style breakfast is included in the tariff (see below). Minimum booking is for 2 nights and the hotel is 100% non-smoking. Rare red squirrels come to the garden to feed, so please leave your pets at home!
