Splendid 17th century coaching Inn on Ashbys main high street. Small size but offering business facilities and close to main motorways. Close to Birmingham, East Midlands airports. A family run grand old 17th century coaching Inn, in the middle of Ashbys High Street. Behind the Black and White frontage, old beams take the eye in the cosy ground floor bar, where a good range of cask ales & beers are served. Upstairs in the bay windowed restaurant,open for Sunday lunch & mon till thur eve. Prime fresh produce makes for excellent eating. Overnight visitors appreciate the comforts and amenities provided in the Ten letting bedrooms. Most en-suite, all have TVs & teletext. All have tea and coffee making facilities. Car parking at the rear of the hotel. Car Park is not owned by the hotel, & there is a small charge from 8.30am till 6pm. It is run by the C.Council, with surveillance cameras in operation. The Queens is very lively at weekends, where a nightclub & late bars operate till 2am on a Fri & Sat evening.
