Built in 1610 during the reign of James I, this hotel is one of the oldest in north-east Wales and has been tastefully modernised without losing its historical character. The hotel was initially a coaching inn serving the Shrewsbury to Betws-y-Coed section of the London to Holyhead coaching route. Now under new management, the owners have striven to revive the hotels former glory. Staff aim to offer a high standards in their food, beverages and accommodation, as well as an added personal touch. The hotel offers many amenities which cater for all kinds of guests including families, walkers, and business executives. Special attention will be paid to each guests individual needs and requirements.
